Laurus

The Laurus Network is a new networking group created to meet the need for inspirational networking in the business world.  Our sole purpose is to provide a positive and refreshing networking experience whilst increasing supportive business conduct.  We are a membership based group providing access to personal development support and practical business training through our network of training partners.

You will see some similarities to other networking groups.  The Laurus Network has taken the most creative and interesting parts of those groups and created a ‘newer model’! Networking with flair, we like to call it!

Our lunchtime meetings are held twice a month.  Our meetings are loosely structured, as much as we’d love to network all day; we all have businesses to run!!  At the same time our meetings are designed to be accessible and informal, yet we want to take you out of your comfort zone when networking! 

The purpose of our twice monthly meetings is to

• To help build relationships
• To build confidence when networking
• To Enable us to promote one another’s businesses/services when networking elsewhere
• To encourage continuous learning and development
• Build a support network for our members

I should emphasise that we are not just another business referral group.  Laurus is the latin word for ‘success’.  Ultimately the amount of business we give and receive in this group will be an indicator of our success, but our main objective is to foster relationships which will ultimately lead to business and personal success for our members.
